1. All-In
When a player bets all their remaining chips in a hand. Once you’re all-in, you can’t take any further action in that round.

2. Ante
A small, forced bet that all players must place before a hand begins. It helps build the pot and encourages action.

3. Big Blind (BB)
A mandatory bet placed by the player two seats left of the dealer. It rotates around the table and increases the pot before the cards are dealt.

4. Bluff
A strategy where a player bets or raises with a weak hand to force opponents with stronger hands to fold.

5. Buy-In
The amount of money or chips required to enter a poker game or tournament.

6. Call
To match the current highest bet made by another player during a round.

7. Check
A way to pass the action to the next player without betting, as long as no bet has been made yet.

8. Community Cards
Cards placed face-up in the center of the table that all players can use in combination with their own cards to make a hand. Common in games like Texas Hold’em.
